Weezer recently dropped in to record a few live tracks for AOL's Sessions site. Let's see what we have here...
1. "I'm Your Daddy" - A brand new Raditude track featuring the guest talents of...Kenny G? Serious? Dead serious.
2. "Can't Stop Partying" - First released as a collaboration with hip hop impresario Jermaine Dupri on Rivers' 2008 demo collection Alone II - The Home Recordings, the tune was remade for Raditude with a Lil Wayne guest spot. In this live AOL Sessions version, the always ridin' dirty Chamillionaire joins Weezer onstage.
3. "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" - On Raditude's first single, Sara Bareilles of "not gonna write you a 'Love Song'" fame duets with Rivers Cuomo, turning the tune into Grease with distortion pedals. Her harmony vocal on the chorus actually adds a lot.
4. "Brain Stew" - Cuomo lets loose on a piano & drums cover of Green Day's "Brain Stew". Who saw this coming? Not I, dear friends.
5. "Butterfly" - A deep track from cult favorite Pinkerton, this live version simply features Rivers Cuomo's vocal and a harpist. Very pretty.
Say what you will of Weezer--they are some cheeky lads doing exactly what they wanna do, and sure appear to be having fun doing it.

I hadn't seen the "Brain Stew" cover before. That was a cool rendition, although very out of left field.
Go Weezer!!
