WHERE MUSIC IS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY

Artist:
Album:
Track:

Of the many things that music does for me, it helps me complete meaningless chores like laundry or mowing the lawn. Today I had to mow the back yard for a final time of the season. Wasn't looking forward to it at all, but I knew that my tunes would be there to support me during my trials and tribulations. When I heard Beth Gibbons of Portishead belt out her sweat voice in the song 'Roads' I was put at ease with my tedious tasks. Thanks Portishead, for mowing my lawn.

Well then, I should thank Celtic Frost for shoveling the snow on my driveway.

Seriously.

The Decemberists do my laundry AND cook dinner for me.

Scissor Sisters ALWAYS tones my ass on the elliptical.

Regina Spektor drives me around on errands.

They're all so damn generous. It makes the price of a cd all worth it...

Thanks for the comments and a special thanks goes to Fedge. Music truly is a requirement of my life. Just as air, water, food, etc.

Peace out.
