31 Knots is a great band, in fact Joe Haege is like a brother to me. Okay, he is my brother....and I'm proud to say so. I can remember the early days in our basement growing up in the suburban ghetto of Glen Ellyn, IL. Banging on drums and playing really bad guitar. One of the first band names Joe played under was Clydo. This was a name mostly thought up by our mutual friend Matt Espeland. We were all three in the 'band' so to speak. The next one was 31 Knots i think, unless Joe was in some others after he moved out to Olympia, WA. Anyway, just thought you might enjoy a little personal tidbit from Joe's big brother Drew (or as he calls me Andy).
