Thunderbirds Are Now!

So the latest band that I've decided is awesome is Thunderbirds Are Now! I'd describe their sound as electro dance punk, or something like that. Actually, the best description I've heard of them is caffeinated rock. They've got a lot of energy in their songs. They remind me of Hot Hot Heat in some ways. Check 'em out.

that1guy says I've actually been somewhat disappointed in their past two albums, but that may be just because their first was just so different from anything I'd ever heard before. Check out their album 'A Doctor, A Lawyer, An Indian Chief' if you can get ahold of it.

draindesert says Their past two albums? Are you counting Make History in the past already or is there another record that I don't know about? I'm surprised that you're disappointed with their newer stuff, I love the direction that they've been going in. The tracks I've got from Make History are fantastic. It's definitely more pop than Justamustache, but I don't see that as a bad thing. It's better for them to break new ground than to repeat themselves. But I will definitely check out A Doctor, A Lawyer, An Indian Chief once I can find it. Then I'll see if their newer stuff suffers by comparison.
