Just received this morning so this is a fairly quick review on the album as I have only heard it once.Generally very good and I expect it to get better after half a dozen or so plays.I think this is the first album that features The marvelous "Marr", Serious Moggers will confirm, and many of the songs do have that smiths guitar sound although hidden in the background rather than the familiar Smiths in your face sound.There is a mix of slow movers like 'Little Motel' and trad indie songs like 'invisible'. Several songs have a punk sound such as 'Florida' and especially 'Fly in the Jar' which is has a Stranglers / specials sound. Yes I did just mix 80s ska with 70s punk.Result recommended.
