date night with the old lady

well the wife and i finaly had a night out after the birth of our second daughter. went out had dinner and beer at our local watering hole. my fave beer and fajita joint, the vermillion. we then went out to catch a movie. it was just weird getting back into the couple thing after eight weeks of a screaming baby. anyway i woke up today feeling great, life is good and cant wait to get the bbq pit going and watching college ball all fucking day. have a great weekend.

It is ultimately the greatest gift you can give your children; "a strong foundation for when the winds of changes shift" Love grows exponetially(?) as it moves back and fourth between hearts and souls in a family, becoming the bulwark against the cold dizzying world. Being a parent is a terrifying, exhilerating, frustrating, indescribably rewarding experience as well as a daunting responsibility. Being a spouse is all of that and more. When you've been given hearts to hold, and when you have given your heart to be held, the awesome humbling power stirs the souland we are intimately connected to the infinite mysteries.
