what is a good new years song for the zeros?

what song/anthem besides "new years day" (too obvious) defines right now, the way that "eighties" by killing joke did in said decade? it did make us wonder what song to put on when clock struck twelve the other night. ideas? knowing this should complement my resolutions that i plan to make/break quite nicely.ps. eighties still rocks. i *heart* that song.

I caught Tom Stoppard's "Rock n' Roll" recently and it featured a ton of Pink Floyd material; Syd Barrett happened to be a character in the play as well. So, where to begin with the early/Syd Barrett stuff? I need some help before doing the potential cop-out and buying the greatest hits package.
