Well, it's about time that I put a new album obsession up to replace Holly Beth Vincent. I'll put her back up again later. I have to give this some thought, though. Tough to narrow it down. Now, there's a major achievement: Writing three words with "ough" in the middle and none of them rhyme! Gabba-gabba-hey!Figured it out. The winner is: Nick Lowe, "Jesus of Cool" on Radar Records. At least, that's the import vinyl from back in the day that I have. It is pristine, of course. I know Masoo will approve. That album was a sleeper in the New Wave/Punk/Whatever era of the late '70s. It is a gem that sounds as fresh today as it did three decades ago. No mean feat.
