I've been listening to Aphex Twin's lush ambient album, Selected Ambient Works 85-92 for about a decade now and I love every minute of it still. Very few albums produce hours of sonic landscapes with such consistent flow/movement without lulling the listener to sleep. It's a must have for anyone who enjoys "background music" to inspire a project or appreciates electronica's idea of classical music. 16 years after its first pressing, Selected Ambient Works 85-92 has been digitally remastered for re-issue by R&S Records. Starting May 5th, the CD will be available everywhere and a digital download is reportedly going to be offered exclusively at Beatport. FACT Magazine posted today that the re-issue is, "part of newly revived R&S Records' Master Series, which also includes Ken Ishii's Jelly Tones, Model 500's Classics and Dave Angel's, er, Classics."

My Trusted MOGs
Aphex Twin is playing at Coachella and as of yet, I am not going. This deeply saddens me.
My Trusted MOGs
I hear ya draag. Aphex Twin was the deciding factor that made me want to go to Coachella. However, if I can get to Bangface Weekender in England that same weekend, I would rather be there - Squarepusher!!! I will be so sad if I can't be there, but I would like to go to Coachella as a consolation.
