Believe it or not, Gwen is a smart gal. She balances being a superstar musician, a super mom, a stylish fashion line and makes it look easy. Tonight, the Love. Angel. Music. Baby mama is playing a concert in San Diego (recently ravaged by wildfires that caused numerous event cancellations) that will raise funds for the victims of the devastation. The proceeds from tonight's concert will go right back into the community via The San Diego Foundation's After-the-Fires Fund 2007. LiveDaily reported:
Stefani made the announcement with Mayor Jerry Sanders on local radio station KHTS. "When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect," Stefani said during the radio broadcast. "But then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution."
Respekt! The San Diego show is one of the last on her Sweet Escape Tour with Akon and Lady Sovereign.
