Lauryn Hill has hit a sour note and just can't seem to recover. She performed a free concert in Brooklyn on Monday night, but even without exorbitant ticket prices, the crowds just won't take her slack. Sean Kingston, the Jamaican teenage who recently gained #1 status with his innocent hit, "Beautiful Girls," but I imagine the crowd just sweated him in anticipation of Lauryn's appearance. Somehow he managed to keep the mic for a full hour nonetheless.
When Hill hit the stage with a raspy voice (she's been touring Europe apparently) what came out was dubbed aggro-gospel! The crowd begged for her big hits, while she continued to dish out obscure b-sides from Miseducation. For a thorough report of her career's funeral procession, check out the Village Voice concert review.

My Trusted MOGs
This is really sad to me. I loved the miseducation album, listen to it all the time on my ipod and singalong. Seems she is def. smoking some crack and pulling a whitney houston! which makes no sense cuz she aint got no bobby brown in her life.
