Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton -NYC Concert In May

The legendary Shabba Ranks will take the stage on May 6th in NYC! Once dancehall's brightest star, Ranks has not made very many public appearances in the US in the last decade. He will be opening for Buju Banton, after Tony Matterhorn warms up the crowd, at the Pre-Mother's Day "Driver" Concert.Shabba RanksShabba Ranks was the first dancehall artist to top international music charts, as well as the first to sign with a major label in the US. He received regular radio play in the early 90's, and went on to score 2 Grammy awards for his music.
