Tortoise Tours US After Bonnaroo

Tortoise has announced their early summer schedule! There have been a few updates to the list of cities that Tortoise will stop in, so be sure to look at brainwashed.com for the full schedule. It starts in Ohio, June 14th, the night before their performance at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tenessee on June 15th. They have added Portland and LA to their west coast coverage, as well as Ann Arbor to the middle territory! Sadly, the only Canadian show will be in Toronto. The distance covered in less than one month looks hectic, bringing the band to the Black Cat in DC as early as July 7th, and finishing July 8th in NYC with guests, Kieran Hebden of Four Tet and Steve Reid. While brainwashed.com has the most updated schedule at this time, Tortoise's webpage has links to the venues for many of the shows.These boys are going to be worn out on July 9th. The schedule even lists 2 shows in Boston on July 5th! So make sure you show them a lot of love when they get to your neighborhood.
