Sarah McLachlan Compiles Vol. 2 Of Rarities, B-Sides + Remixes

It's been awhile since we heard anything from Sarah MacLachlan. Her last studio album was the Wintersong EP in 2006 and her last full-length album of original material was 2003's Afterglow. The singer-songwriter isn't releasing new material, but the new collection she'll release in April does contain many treats. Rarities, B-Sides and Other Stuff, Volume 2 features duets with Emmylou Harris, Cyndi Lauper, Perishers, and Bryan Adams as well as cover songs and remixes. (Volume 1 was released in 1996.) One of my faves - the DJ Tiesto remix of "Silence" - is also included, along with covers of "The Rainbow Connection," "Blackbird" and "River."
