Flight Of The Conchords Release Self-Titled LP In April

Posted about 4 years ago
Flight of the Conchords have teased us long enough with their 6-track EP The Distant Future and are finally coming proper with a full-length album on Sub Pop. The new album is self titled (the band, the HBO show and the album are all called Flight of the Conchords!), features 15 well-rounded tracks and will be available starting April 22. The band took songs that were premiered on the HBO series and reworked them in the studio to be full and well-mastered. The songs were produced by Mickey Petralia and recorded in L.A., NYC and Wellington, New Zealand. According to Billboard:
Also included are the dazzling Pet Shop Boys parody "Inner City Pressure," which will be the first single worked to radio, the Kraftwerk-with-acoustic-guitars "Robots," the aptly named David Bowie tribute "Bowie" and the disco pastiche "Think About It."
Tracklist:"Foux du Fafa""Inner City Pressure""Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros""Think About It""Ladies of the World""Mutha'uckas""The Prince of Parties""Leggy Blonde""Robots""Boom""A Kiss Is Not a Contract""The Most Beautiful Girl (in the Room)""Business Time""Bowie""Au Revoir"More info on HARP as well...Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros:Could this be the song called "Robots"?
