Vince Clark & Alison Moyet Rekindle Yaz For 25th Anniversary

Posted about 1 year ago
Before Erasure, Vince Clark was half of a successful band with Alison Moyet. They were called Yazoo in the UK but just Yaz in the US and they played electro-dance music, as was popular at the time they last played together. They only recorded 2 albums before splitting in 1983, Upstairs at Eric's and You and Me Both, with the smash hit "You And Me Both" among others. It's exactly 25 years later and Clark-Moyet are reuniting, as is popular this year, to play live shows and release a 4-disc collection that includes the 2 previous albums plus B-sides, remixes and a DVD. Because, of course, electro-dance music never goes out of style! These are the only dates available at this time:June 4: Glasgow (Clyde Auditorium)June 7: Manchester, England (Apollo)June 12: Wolverhampton, England (Wolverhampton Civic Hall)June 15: Brighton, England (Brighton Centre)June 18: London (Hammersmith Apollo)Read more about Vince Clark and Alison Moyet at Billboard.com
