Henry Rollins Is Opinionated And Easily Provoked - On Tour
-
Artist:
Henry Rollins isn't going to keep quiet. Unlike Jello Biafra's speaking engagements, Rollins speaks out about what's happening right now and presents an alternative view. Plus, Rollins has a great voice that is easy to listen to (also unlike Biafra). Many folks east of the Rockies in the US will have an opportunity to hear Rollins speak live and probably have the chance to question or heckle him without fear of retribution. So if you live near one of the towns on Rollins' tour - Provoked: An Evening of Quintessentially American Opinionated Editorializing and Storytelling - I highly recommend going to see him. The former frontman for Black Flag and State of Alert promises to "incite and offer insight, to enrage and enlighten, and to draw both laughs and ire."Rollins speaks on djs as "musicians":Provoked: An Evening of Quintessentially American Opinionated Editorializing and Storytelling Tour Dates:Tues. 2/19 Birmingham, AL First AvenueWed. 2/20 Chattanooga, TN Hayes TheatreThur. 2/21 Raleigh, NC Lincoln TheatreFri. 2/22 Asheville, NC OrangeSat. 2/23 Athens, GA 400 Watt ClubSun. 2/24 Knoxville, TN BijouTues. 2/26 Baltimore, MD SonarWed. 2/27 Brooklyn, NY WarsawThur. 2/28 Brooklyn, NY WarsawFri. 2/29 Atlantic City, NJ House of BluesSat. 3/1 Providence, RI Lupo’sSun. 3/2 Montreal, QC Le NationalTues. 3/4 Rochester, NY Harro EastWed. 3/5 Pittsburgh, PA Rex TheaterThur. 3/6 Indianapolis, IN Egyptian RoomSat. 3/8 Memphis, TN New Daisy TheatreTues. 3/11 Tulsa, OK Cains BallroomWed. 3/12 Lincoln, NE RococoThur. 3/13 Des Moines, IA Val Air BallroomFri. 3/14 Sioux Falls, SD Orpheum TheatreSat. 3/15 Fargo, ND The VenueTour Dates and more info on HARP Mag
