Black Crowes Start Record Label, New Album + Tours In 2008

The Black Crowes haven't released a new studio album in seven years, but 2008 will change that. The band is finishing up an album of all-new material titled Warpaint. It will be released on a record label recently created by The Black Crowes themselves. The label is called Silver Arrow Records which will be distributed through Megaforce/Sony Red BMG.

According to HARP Magazine:On a special run of “One Night Only” shows beginning on March 4, fans will experience Warpaint performed in its entirety, after which the band will play songs from their catalog and selected surprises. (Dates tba.) Then the band will begin their world tour March 24 by headlining the Byron Bay Festival in Australia. They’ll continue their down under trek through April 5 before playing special engagements in Tokyo, Amsterdam and London, and concluding with shows in Hamburg and Cologne, Germany.
