There's a special charity event coming up at Oxford, England's Carling Academy that features two pioneers of experimental music and Krautrock. Michael Rother, formerly of Neu! and Kraftwerk (during their pre-electronica incarnation), and Dieter Mobius, who is a member of Cluster, will perform together to help raise money for the charity organization, Shelter. The all-day event is part of the Audioscope festival and takes place on 10 November. Rother and Mobius will also play in Bristol on 12 November at The Croft. Dalek was originally scheduled to play the Audioscope event, but had to cancel. Fortunately, Clark was able to step up and take their place.Audioscope 2007 Lineup:Michael Rother (Neu!, Kraftwerk, Harmonia) & Dieter Möbius (Cluster, Harmonia)Clark (Warp Records)The Sea And Cake (feat. Great album, I have it on vinyl and it sounds fantastic. Some of the songs are so experimental that they sound current.
