Artist:
Just in time for Trick or Treating, T.I. is free. The Grammy-winning rapper was released on $3 million bond!! If I was facing 30 years in prison, I would pay any amount I could get my hands on to be free as long as possible, but I know I would never get my hands on $3 mil no matter how hard I tried. Wowee. But he's not going to be left alone either. He's on house arrest and will be monitored by a GPS system as well as a "private surveillance company." His house was thoroughly searched by the ATF to ensure that it would be safe for he and his girlfriend to reside in during the house arrest. The ATF was looking for weapons and/or illegal goods to confiscate, but no reports have been made of any discoveries. His girlfriend was given permission to live on the premises with him, but other visitors will be subjected to a series of conditions and random searches. T.I. and his home and property will also be subject to random searches. So, careful what you bake into that cake you bring over! One question? How lucky is the "private surveillance" peeps who must watch T.I. and his girlfriend round the clock? And will video be leaked? Oh I hope not.T.I. was also granted permission to work from home and his lawyers stated that he would be working in the studio in his home. He's going to have to work hard, not only to pay off the $3 million bond. The state-of-the-art GPS system used to monitor T.I.'s activities will also be added to his tab.More at Reuters.com
