KCRW welcomed the incomparable Leigh and Chandra Watson to the program recently, which was a long time coming. Okay! Back to waxing poetic about two amazing southern ladies. On a personal note, through the substantiations my scattered life has thrown my way I have found much solice in the wonderful musings of these two females. A calming thought of being not so half-full anymore has been a savior and these girls are the cause of such growing thoughts. I can't help but feel the ruminations of a better mindset after giving "Southern Manners," a listen or two. Ah! Thanks for reminding me! I've been meaning to check out their stuff ever since I got my hands on Jenny Lewis' solo album... Perhaps I was a bit distracted by its genius. But now that my mind is clear, I'll be sure to check out The Watsons Twins on their own. So far I'm digging their sound a lot. :)
