WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Does it smell in here?

'There is nothing in this sweaty world worse than bad incense!' (life is too long for cheap, offensive incense) So when digworm gets his MOG-jo on he sparks a length of super fine incense to smell time by...I was shocked to find that some finer sticks cost more than gold! Dig this Factiod: Back in the day, incense was used for the measurement of time. The earliest forms developed from the rudimentary knotted match cord to incense sticks (known as senko in Japan), and incense coils. What are you burning - besides time? (and it's still a gas to light shit on fire)

  1. Puffmagic says Nag Champa: Black, Red, Original blue and Super Hit (My Favorite) Plus some India Temple stuff that I found that's awesome. Also Sandalwood every now and then. I have a shoebox filled with incense.

  7. extraordinarypoems says Okay --- I want to like incense, I do. I do. It's just that I've got this wacky nose that gets all sneezy when things stir it up. So I hope you're telling me that if I buy the good stuff, my nose may not whack out like it does with the cheap stuff? And I don't want no jasmine. I want something minty fresh or lavender or citrusy. Is this possible? The best incense I have smelled, by the way, was at the Tibetan Buddhist Dharma Center in Columbia, SC. So do they have an in to some sacred incense or what?

  8. digworm says you can order primo stuff online but i find it fun to shop for it - is there a 'japan town' in your area sometimes i don't even need to light it and i can still smell it - you don't have to burn a whole stick at once either there is some very mild incense out there it's like olfactory music
