Bear Sings Burt Bacharach

Posted about 1 year ago

A gift from Grandma to her grandson, a singing bear that amuses Cooper and has frightened the dog with his rendition of Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head.

The link might say no longer available, but click on it, it should start.

But for those ukelele fans out there, here's another cover:

yeah, we looked at it qute warily when she showed it to us.  that's why it's up on the bookshelf, far above his reach.  I was more interested in trying out the videocamera and uploading the video than anything else.   Though he figured out how to start the song pretty quick!

Not to be churlish or anything, but the bear doesn't seem to be keeping up with the shifting time signatures at the end, On the other hand, he sounds better than B.J. Thomas...

My first response to reading the title of your post was "Of course it does!"  Now if only the parent were one of those smart circuit bending people and could crack open the bear and utilize the vocal component and create all manner of Bacharach noise.  The uke version was pleasant.

please, be churlish!  There may be video of rawkko getting on the good foot.  I am sure his middle school charges would be most amused.

Fistula: sounds like a plan for later.
