Everybody (Should) Eat When They Come to My House

Local story that I have seen nationally, and it seems so wrong that there is even a need for food banks here, let alone a spike in need for the holidays. The local story, "Hungry Times for Area Food Banks":http://www.philly.com/inquirer/front_page/20071221_Hungry_for_Help.html, citing a couple of reasons why there is less food available for food banks now, including the rise of dollar stores. I had read elsewhere that another reason for the decrease in food bank supplies was the increased demand for corn and other grains for ethanol fuel. (Another reason for different energy sources.) And, for those interested in making donations instead of giving gifts, check out "Philabundance's donor website":https://www.philabundance.org/takeactionnow/tan_financial.asp
