At the periodontist yesterday as he used what I can only assume was a tiny tiny saw and drill to cut away parts of my gum and bone so that a crown could be placed on a chipped tooth. I felt nothing because of the anesthetic, and heard nothing as I cranked my earbuds waaaayyyyyyy up. Social Distortion, Strokes and other loud tunes, forcing the dentist to repeatedly have to tap me on the arm, "uh, Chris, I need you to turn a little more this way."
