Jerry Lee Lewis released his latest around Christmastime - called "Last Man Standing". Although marketed as a duets album, I'm happy to say it sounds nothing like any duets album I've ever heard, in that Jerry Lee totally dominates every track. What else would you expect from the Killer? My favorite (and the lead-off) track from the CD is below, and features Jerry Lee, along with Jimmy Page, doing a number from Led Zeppelin's back catalog -"Rock And Roll". Now, as I've said many times, I am NOT a Zeppelin fan. Saw them live, heard them plenty, don't like 'em (Mostly it's Percy - Jimmy plays fine). But MAN, Jerry Lee turns this into something else!Of course, Last Man Standing refers to the fact that, of all of the Sun Records stars and founders (Sam Phillips, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash), only Jerry Lee, probably the most debauched of all, is still alive. An amazing fact, but true. And long may he reign!

A fun album all around.
