I am no fan of heavy metal. From Led Zeppelin on, the combo of helium-voiced singers backed by thundering instruments has NOT been my cuppa tea. Hair bands? Please! Not with a 10-foot pole!All the critics laugh at this band and only pay attention because they think they are tongue-in-cheek.Yet from the moment I first heard "Get Your Hands Off My Woman" from a Q magazine sampler, I've liked them. That singer has the most amazing falsetto voice I've ever heard in my friggin' life. What a set of pipes!Bought the first album. Ok, threw out half the tracks, but can't get the rest out of my iPod. A couple of weeks ago, saw the second CD on sale - mulitple copies - probably a sales disaster. Certainly a critical disaster - I have not read one positive review of this CD. But....same thing. Love at least half the tracks.What is WRONG with me?
