You are all familiar with The Stooges, the band with Iggy Pop as the lead singer. I spent my teenage years in Ann Arbor, and went to Junior High and High School with the drummer, Scott Asheton. In the above photograph, Scott is the third one from the front. My sister, being a few years older, went to High School with Iggy Pop, then known as James Westerberg.Here's a 2004 shot of Scott as he looks now:

At this point he is already acquiring rock star cool, trampy girlfriends (at least, trampy to me!) and I am staying the FUCK away from him before he hits me.Though, I have to say, I have no memories of ever being bullied by him (just by a lot of other hoodlums).So, that's my trip down memory lane. Anyone else out there get readin' ritin' and 'rithmatic with pop stars?

This is a very cool post..easy to see the devil grab a hold of that youngster. From the jump, though, he had an R& R 50 yard stare..DNA coded ROCK.
