Tony Rice is one of the stars of the Bluegrass field. An incredible guitarist and great singer, Tony was in the inital group of J.D. Crowe and the New South along with Ricky Skaggs. He hasn't limited himself to bluegrass, and has a variety of releases in different genres. Which is why it might have been necessary to name the CD this came from as "Tony Rice Plays and Sings Bluegrass". This is his cover of Bob Dylan's "Girl From The North Country" which I thoroughly enjoy.
