I was watching 'Video On Trial', a show on Much Music that pokes fun of music videos and I saw their critique of the video for "The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFrR3lhAIs4&mode=related&search and it peeved me off that none of the 'judges' got that the video was based on the movie "The Shining":http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081505/ directed by Stanley Kubrick from a book by Stephen King. I understand how much of the video would go over the head of anyone who has never seen the Shining, but I just couldn't believe that not even one of the judges seemed to have seen the movie. Come on people! It's a classic! You can't tell me that it's a matter of age either because I would be surprised if I'm not younger than every one of the people featured. Grrrrr...
