The Persuasions do an awesome version of a stone beautiful Garcia-Hunter composition. There have been a lot of Grateful Dead Posts these last few days (yeah, I know, I've posted most of them, But its not my fault, The Daves started it). You know, I am not a Dead fan, never was. I spent ten years on the road in a Pink Floyd Tribute band run by a Dead Head; I got to hear certain live recordings. I think I finally "got it" about them. I still don't consider myself a fan, but now I can appreciate them. "Ripple" I think is my favorite.... But with this cover, you can really appreciate what great songwriters they were. They really were great. Sometimes you can't hear it (or in my case, I just didn't "get" it).
