Travel with me now to 1968. Ultimate Spinach was far more heard of than heard. Lousy distribution made this album difficult to find which naturally increased it's cache among the hipsters. For one flash moment in 1968 this was the album to own. Close your eyes. Can you see the black light posters? Smell the incense? Can you see the stack of quarters on the tone arm? (Hey, WTF is a tone arm?)

Weirdly, I had this album when it first came out - seems to me I got it free somehow, but how? - and thought it was pretty lame. I was obviously wrong, however, because this is lysergic to the max....
