MOG MOG

WHERE MUSIC IS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY

Artist:
Track: *Groovallegiance
(60)

This track has it all, an elastic groove, diamond cutting guitar and Bernie Worrell's funky funky keys. Mix in a healthy dose of goofy fun and you get a Funkadelic classic, no?

Geez, these guys weren't half-toasted, were they? Sterling stuff, DMDM....

Bill, contrary to popular belief these guys were not always buzzing. There was the Blizzard of '78, and a few hours in late '81.

So now it appears that this Funkadelic group sounded pretty darn good. They had getting down down pat.

What about those of us who find it impossible to pronounce the word "Groovallegiance"? Are we still allowed to get deep down and funky? :o)

I was discussing the pleasure "One Nation Under A Groove" with a friend of mine who said he preferred Funkadelic over Parliament because he loves the combination of Michael Hampton and Garry Shider, not to mention Eddie Hazel. Myself, I was undecided preferring them both.

Funkaliciously funk-tastic, DMDM
