SUNDAY UNDER COVERS WITH SHE & HIM

Posted over 3 years ago

I've taken quite a bit of flack for liking She & Him, and those too polite to actually bust my chops do arch the ole eyebrows. I don't care, I think they have a good thing goin' and I hope they continue to grow and mature to their fullest potential, which is considerable.

What follows is posted for laughs only

The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in the US .

Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party... as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance. This photo is of a Democrat black bear in Montana nicknamed 'Bearack Obama'!

Actually, this bear is waiting for a more-gear-than-brains photographer to get just a little too close, then the would-be "Marty Stauffer" will become dinner! (WANTED: Wildlife photographer. Looking for a self-starter who neverthless will heed warnings from park rangers! If you're a tad  "smarter than the average bear," apply at: NatGeo.com.)

They're ok. But in my mind this track (admittedly a MoTown classic) is tied irrevocably to the Beatles. And an a capella version just lacks that instrumental oomph.
