AN ANGULAR< ENIGMATIC SOUND. THURSTON MOORE ON A SATURDAY MORNING

Track:
Thurston Moore on a Saturday morning, just what the good doctor ordered.
One of Sonic Youth's mainsprings, Moore, along with wife Kim Gordon, and bandmates Lee Renaldo, & (since 1986) Steve Shelley has taken his vision of (anti)rock music to bold heights & blistered noise treks through avante America.
On his own he can be more........Melodic? No, thats not it.....his approach is slightly more convent.....no, thats not it.
What is it?

Dr.who, ordered what? I can dig that, 'specially the acoustic parts.
Mmm, lovely way to start the morning.
This IS a perfect Saturday sound :)
Good one, Deadsy ;-)
Its cool to hear Thurston in this more "traditional instrumental" setting.

(How'd you miss that one? It was Wednesday's "featured post" and is currently the first MOG in the "Gazette")
What is it? it's...ineffable? Whatever it is, I like it.
it's...ineffable?
no, I think its effable.
You're F-in' right about that!
Dead... right on this sound. I would express it as being expressionable with a splash of ethereal and realism. hmmm expresatherialism.
Tom Baker in tartan? Eeewwww! That's scary. He doesn't seem happy about it, either. The Doctor's taste in apparel is truly, uh, strange...
So the guy can sing and play and chooses not to. What an ASSWIPE!
ASSWIPE
Now thats interesting
