The Kings Of Convenience Cover Tom Petty

Track:Free Falling
On this neat little gem The Kings Of Convenience remind me of Brewer & Shipley. they've taken Tom Petty's plaintive panic and transformed it into a communal celebration. Not great, but not too bad.

Love The Kings Jeff, and haven't heard this for awhile. Nice start to the days aural experience...
Thanks, Scotty dude. Are you ready for some football?
Yeah, I guess it is that time again. Already got my tongue moisturizer in hand, so licking my wounds won't be so irritating...
Let's not forget that it was written by Jeff Lynne (with Petty), the genius behind ELO and the guy that made Petty palatable. For a while.
Scotty, those friggin' Bungles are drivin' me crazy. So much unorganized talent.
Jeff Lynne? yeah, I heard o'him, somewhere. I was either in a dentist's office or an elevator.
Dead men don't need dentists. One more crack about Jeff and I'll knock your remaining tooth out
This track is eh. Not enough to keep the song playing and the page open.
Lynne being a talent in his own right, I can't quite grasp your comment Mark...Lynne made Petty "palatable"? You never listened to the first couple Petty outings, or Damn the Torpedoes - well you probably think you did, but try again, 'cause I'm sure there's something you missed there. Oh, and turn up the volume this time!!
See Jeff, I'm trying to avoid the football discussions...."unorganized talent" is about the best worst description ever. I'm so glad I DVR'd that game yesterday and could speed through it. Jeez, they looked as bad as the worst of the 90's, yet still hung in with a chance. Baltimore's defense looked perilous and the offense wasn't bad either. They should'ce won by 2 or 3 more td's. Weird game.
