I have to thank Breathmint for the tip on this one. And of course the ever vigilant Micheal Goldberg has seen this coming and he posted a most excellent track.
Of Montreal's Skeletal lamping is alysergic brew of skewed lyrics, strange affecting music and a "devil may care" (but we don't) attitude. From the lead-off track NonPareil of Love To the insanely glorius Id Engager, Of Montreal offer a refreshing breath of neo-psychedelic fun.

If somebody had slipped something into Queen's Fresca....
Yeah Bill, I hear that.....at other points on this great cd they channel the Fab Four, the Kinks, Built To Spill, The Dukes Of The Stratosphere, and myriad others, but all filtered through their off center sensibilities.
So they're basically a one-band festival.....
Well yes, I suppose. You are possessed with remarkable humor.
I like those cats! I was listening to one of their older ones today and I'm sure on the by and by I'll pick up the new joint.
I'm a fairly chipper guy tonight. Good work news. Finally getting some job security....
Oh this one is like all the others ones on acid.
There are more? Is acid back?
the album leaked! oh and I think acid's been back.
and that one starts sounding like old Stones. Yeah, very entertaining, the psychotics are bleeding through their skin I see. That abrupt conclusion jarred me. Necessary at 7 a.m.? You bethca!
Thanks for the update, Pinkerton. I've been busy lately, and clearly missed the memo....
Here's your copy, Bill...
or this one
That button's not turning red for me, Scot. Am I too square?
I screwed up the first one...usually happens when I attempt humor...
In truth, the Sixties were about pursuing the fun and freedom that everyone else seemed to be having, but weren't....
I just missed em. Signed on just in time for Alice Cooper to drive the stake in the heart. so, in truth then, the acid was the only good part?
In my book I don't know if you can get much better than "Hissing Fauna..", but I like what I'm hearing. This track is more early 70's Bowie than solo Eno like the last one was, great sounding none the less. Very excited about this release!
I was in Atlanta when all that Elephant 6 (Of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel, Apples in Stereo, Elf Power) activity was going on in Athens and I missed it! 40 miles away and I was oblivious to one of the greatest movements in music in the past 15 years!
Here's a post with an imbed of the album "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?"
