A Throwback To Another Era (and that's a good thing)

The Felice Brothers are indeed a throwback to another era. An era of craftmanship, an era when a band was a functioning manifestation of multiple personalities working together to create a shared vision.
Simone Felice, Ian Felice, James Felice, Christmas, & Farley create a sound that harkens back to that era. A sound as sweet and as kick-ass as corn liquor, with a sense of history, but firmly entrenched in that timeless now that stretches from **Hank** to **Hayes Carll**. The comparisons to **Dylan** and **The Band** are apt, but misleading, as are all comparisons, ultimately. The Felice Brothers have a sound all their own, incorperating echoes of what has come before with hints of what may come next. They're very much worth following.

Saw them for the first time in May at Mountain Jam - and have been listening ever since.
