Sometimes the sky opens/rains fall. Anonymous gray & indifferent, the day unfolds in sloppy slow-motion meltdown. In Rhode Island we celebrate the end of WW II today. Its a state holiday. So I'm sitting here reflecting. (And that is always dangerous. I'm not comfortable being left alone with my thoughts) I do not wish to discuss politics because its so damn polarizing. (Though the polarized state of the Union is a cause for concern).

We're being offered false choices and the house of the people is ignoring our voices.

I don't know, I'm fed up.
So, Music it is then. Public Image Ltd Not to every's taste I'm sure, but...hey they're Banging On The Door.

Fed up is right -> the choices we have are to contradictory and confusing, this race has no idea where each one is running, they're lost, asking for directions, and there's SATAN in a blue pin-stripe pointing the way, and their all falling straight into his trap, now we as americans should be standing at the top of the pit, heaping in the dirt, saying, "if we let you out, you're not going to do that again are ya?"
but they will, change their views and morals with every change of wind, thinking their pleasing the masses, but they're just pissing me off and confusing me more and more -> Someone call Fred Thompson please, tell him to jump into the pit please -> Andrea Mitchell doesn't even know what the hell is happening, but she'll put on her fake, ancient smile and pretend ->
AH, nevermind, that was one goofy fuggin song, playing while I was trying to rant -> bastard ->
Ahh....Victory Day (or...Victory over Japan Day to the old-timers).

I hear ya brother. While I'm 100 percent certain about who I'll be voting for in November, I've NEVER felt this disenfranchised before. And party politics have been watered down and blurred to the extent that we have one side criticizing the other side for being too popluar and too hollywood. Come on.
But we have real issues to face. Two years from now when **Putin** decides to put nuclear warheads in Cuba, I'm worried about who's in the White House.
I've never heard PIL before. It didn't sound like it would be my cuppa. And gee, it's not.
