Big, brash, & chunky their version certainly served as the template for The Who's. Whatever. Here Blue Cheer covers The Rolling Stones.....with somewhat less success.

I have to agree that thier version of "Summertime Blues" is the standard and that their version of "Satisfaction" is less than satisfying. I think Rush covered "Summertime Blues" on a CD of all cover tunes (I can't think of the title but I remember not liking many of their versions).
