Artist:

The Replacements were one of rock's true supernovas. An incredible explosion of creative tension and then the endless fade, becoming discernable only to those with an ear trained and studied in the field of garage/indie/rocknroll.
I forget who wrote this song, but he's got a reputation, I know that. Its quite a remarkable song really as the narator, shattered by a loss, stripped of love's (infatuation?) illusions, lashes out striking back at every hurt, real or imagined he can recall or conjur.
The are some pains that glow so hot, so long, one fears one's spirit cannot be healed. I guess sometimes invective can lance that boil.
I know sometimes it cannot.

Who wrote that song? He's got a real talent for peeling off the layers of lovelornness, the acerbic pangs of regrets and fears... But let's not spoil your beautiful post with my stupid words.
It's nice to see you back with such heartfelt words. As usual, you've expressed the gist of the song so perfectly. Thank you, DMDM.
(PS: Welcome back, Jeff -- MOG wasn't the same without you)

You are too kind, sir.
Well, that didn't work! This new Mog is a mighty tribulation!
If by "mighty trubulation" you mean pain in the ass, I agree.
Eggs-ackly!
thanks man. B.B. King is amazing!
