I have posted on Steve Goodman before, and chances are I will again. A songwriter/singer with a rare gift of warm, loving insight into everyday lives. Best known (outside of Chicago) as the author of **The City Of New Orleans**, his catalog is brimming with equally touching tales of heartland America.As a performer he was engaging, open and friendly. He loved the intimacy that he could so effortlessly establish with his audience. And they loved him back.He had a sharp but gentle sense of humor and an eye for the everyday foibles of living.I love this track, though one may need be a certain age to fully appreciate this.
