Damn Earworms!

Posted about 1 year ago
ipod played this for me this morning, and the damn thing morphed into an earworm.I hate it when that happens.Anyway, **Uriah Heep**. What can I say? They are one of my (many) guilty pleasures.Lumpen rock n roll. Plodding blissfully onward. Manfred Mann's synthesizer almost saves the whole damn thing.I think I've posted this before, but.....

  2. Baudolino says Saw them live back in '75. Tbh, they were shite - simply a pile of heavy metal cliches lumped on top of some basic r'n'b chord progressions, then all turned up to eleven

  5. Baudolino says Mind you, on checking things further I learn that their bassist popped his clogs of a smack OD two months later, and David Byron was sacked within the year as lead singer due to his "erratic" performances as a result of the alcohol abuse that ended up killing him within ten years, so maybe they weren't going to be the most "professional" outfit in the world of popular beat combos
