BEFORE WE GET TO SUNDAY UNDER THE COVERS HERE, LISTEN TO RINGO TAKE ANOTHER SWIPE AT PAUL

Posted over 4 years ago
dermahrk says he didn't realize that **Back Off Boogaloo** was a slam at McCartney. I guess it was disguised adequately. But **Blindman** leaves no doubt. While the Beatles were fracturing there were a lot of internal strife. **Paul's**decision to release his first solo album **McCartney** so close to the **Beatles' Let It Be** was a cause for concern for the other three as it was feared that sales of both albums would suffer. So **John & George** sent Ringo around to Paul's house to try to talk to him.By All accounts McCartney went bananas, screaming at Ringo that he (Paul) would see the others sent down to the minor leagues. He then physically pushed Ringo out the door, allegedly telling him that he (Ringo) and the other two were through.A short time later McCartney served legal papers on the other three.

  1. dermahrk says I gain no pleasure from any of the post-Beatle (nor late-period) discord, so I'm not even going to listen to this. I prefer to remember when they were enjoying themselves as much as we were enjoying them.

  9. dermahrk says ??Too Many People?? and ??Monkberry Moon Delight?? are indeed on the iPod. If there is negativity therein, it's well enough disguised to not be a problem for me.
