DRILLING A HOME.............

Artist:
......It May be a bit misleading to call this a George Harrison Track as there's no way of knowing what part, if any, George played in this performance. But I find it to be a pleasant little diversion.....atypically jaunty. Jaunty? C'mon! Who says jaunty anymore? But yeah.....I like to put this unlisted in certain mixes & ask people to guess from whence it came. (wait a minute! Whence? Whence???...who the fu.....never mind). NO ONE has yet guessed George Harrison

Hath thou been watching Merlin?? That could be from whence it's coming.
It is bouncy and it's been quite a while since I've heard it. That's definately a good one to stump people with.
why, that's george on the sitar, I believe
hitherto I heretofore vow to repeateth not the words of olde.
"The 'Herbal Cigarette' Boogie"? "Dance Band on the 'Red Dwarf"? "Charlie Chaplin's Silent Movie Marathon Suite"?
Man, I really need to digitize my vinyl copy of Wonderwall. I totally forgot about this one.

Love it!
Actually, according to the liner notes Harrison doesn't play at all on Wonderwall, though some suspect he's involved in some of the "rock" tracks recorded in the UK (half was recorded in Bombay). No one's ever fessed up that he's actually playing though. Derm, if you still need a digital version, there's one over at The Boat.

Ian Stewart? Nicky Hopkins? An inebriated pub pianist? We may never know.
