We have a destroyer trailing a N Korean vessel....probably to board & search. N Korea has responded by launching more missiles & declaring any interception of it's shipping to be an act of war. The stand-off is unfolding as you read this.
And oh...did you know Michael Jackson died? Did you miss the days long fixation on the faded rock star? The blaring headlines & loving tributes from people who treated him like he was radioactive while he lived?.........and I think to myself.........

The original version by the Who is one of the most perfect slices of powerpop ever made, so I was prepared to mock this mercilessly. But, you know, it's ok...it doesn't make me want to get up and dance (always dangerous) but nicely captures the melody and message.
