Dermahrk's so busy uploading mash-ups I can't get a track in edgewise! So, I can't beat him, I might as well join the fun. SUNDAY UNDER THE COVERS.

I don't have a lot of mash-ups, I recognise the Time an effort put into these things, but by-and-large I'm not a big fan.This track, from the second soundtrack to the Sopranos has probably been heard by everyone here, but on the off chance _one_ of you may have missed it.....

  4. deadmandeadman says xhable, yeah, huh? The mash-up adds to the dark side of the lyric.

  6. mktackabery says I think I remember hearing this on the series but I never did get the soundtracks so this counts as an introduction. And, effectively creepy. The second season was probably the best.

  9. Bartleby says DMDM, you blasphemous lizard. Desecrating the perfection of Mancini's theme with a pop tune by the most ludicrous trio in pop history. :P Seriously, only when Sting's silent is Peter Gunn's sumptous brass saved.

    Haven't been a subscriber to Hell's Box Office...errr...uhhh...I meant Home Box Office since 1981. Count me among those who have never seen an episode of "The Sopranos". Possibly on DVD sometime in the future. So much to see and so much to listen to...

    Does watching every episode of "Wiseguy" on CBS back in the eighties count for something? Still think that the late Ray Sharkey should have been nominated for best actor in that first season. Couldn't figure out why he didn't. His performance was so incredible. Sort of the same question popped in my head when Val Kilmer wasn't nominated for his role in "Tombstone". Holy smoke! That was a freakin' brilliant performance!

    Oh yeah...any mash-up that incorporates the work of Henry Mancini is always a winner in my book!

    :=)
