Pompatous? SPEARHEAD.....THE JOKER

Posted almost 3 years ago

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less." "The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things." "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master—that's all."

Spearhead .............Check it out!

Nice cover. Think Stevie Miller and his  former sideman Boz Scaggs are somewhat underrated--too much success. Boz's work on the Gaffney tribute  album is really good.

I think this is superior to Miller's original, which I don't care for.

I don't know... it's a little to close to the original for my liking. It's a good update of the original though, better production value and all.

I think I like this better, mostly because of the aforementioned crispness.
