WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

While I go out and shovel snow, feel the riddim

Of all the Ex-wailers, Peter Tosh has long been my favorite. His music is _punchier_ than Bob Marley's, with an edge like a stepping razor. Here he takes on Chuck Berry's **Johnny B Goode** with his trademark slow-burn groove. Dig it!

  4. dermahrk says You and Ivylander have apparently formed a pact to get me to actually appreciate reggae by playing good tracks. Don't think I don't know what you're up to, you sneak.

  5. Spike says Creative, the way he changes the melody, rhythm and chord progression, separating it from the many needlessly faithful copyists' versions. dermahrk, don't tell anybody, but what you say is true; they tried to get me involved, but I declined, knowing how set in your ways you are.

  6. Bartleby says You're going to be the leader of a reggae band. That's for sure. Perfect tune to make beautiful dreams of Peter jamming with Chuck. Excellent. Thanks ever so much.
