Track:Midnight Special (outtake)
When an established star offers a young musician a first chance to record.....He doesn't really expect the young musician to walk out of the sessions upset at having to do so many takes of the same song. But Harry Belafonte found out the hard way....One or two takes...that's it. That's all Bob Dylan wanted to do. This is not the track that was eventually released on "Belafonte". This is a rejected take that Dylan thought was perfect.

Now put that special to good use...eat a bullet for dinner.
Wow! How do i take that?
TAKE IT LIKE A MAN!!!
just kidding...bored on a Sunday!
Yeah...but. S'okay tho! I know from boredom
It's not midnight but that was pretty special.
Is that Bob on harmonica, I assume?
Yes Mark, it is...You get a cookie
I'm a little surprised. Among all of his many talents, his harmonica skills are near the bottom. People hired him for sessions?
Dylan's harmonica skills? He has his own style....that's for sure.
He misses a bend or two, beginning with that solo, interesting find. Zimmy thought this was perfect?
